I was really looking into getting a Lexus RC-F with the naturally aspirated V8 in a couple years or so as a fun car to own. I was wondering if anyone on here with either the pre-facelift or facelift models could comment on their current experiences and issues of any kind that they have with their F car. GS-F owners could pitch in too since they share a similar drivetrain. I'm sure these are solid, amazing cars, which explains why I am eager to have one in my garage soon down the line.
Thanks for any input!
if you don't mind the expensive price the great cars just realize as they age and by age I mean like over $200,000 miles they are very expensive to repair when they finally do break
If you’re one of those:
- affluent.
- easy.
- fat.
- prosperous.
- wealthy.
- well-heeled.
- well-off.
- well-to-do.
… why wait "a couple years or so", … just get one now, and Damn The Torpedoes: https://youtu.be/1Yai8fxLok8.
F.S., … none of aboves.
Perfectly good cars. Owners love them. They enjoy their car while their german rivals spent most of the time in the shop.
TONS of ISFs with 200k+ miles. (ISF same motor as RCF GSF at the end of the day)
And LC500 as well, although it's being Armed with the Different Transmission (10-speed Direct Shift-10A) than the GS F, RC F and IS F
