Hello, Chris here with a 2001 Toyota highlander limited v6 awd.
I have owned this vehicle for several years so far for 4 years, purchased at 136k miles and currently has 154k. When I got it I slowly noticed that my city mpg average for a tank of gas was around 14 mpg... now it's getting around 11mpg. Wondering what I can do to resolve this. Replaced intake filter last year to see if that would resolve this a bit and no luck... what can I do to improve my mpg?
I have a 04 Highlander V6. Do you have a check engine light on? If you have a bad O2 sensor that could cause that. How are you driving? Do you drive like a grandma or do you have a led foot?
