My 02 outback whines when you accelerate. Diffs look good trans fluid looks good. Any ideas?

There are a few reasons for a car to whine during acceleration. Scotty has a good video on how to find the source of car noises, watch it.
The whine may originate from the transmission itself, the water pump, the alternator or even your AC compressor.
Watch Scotty’s video and try to refine the source of the noise first. Pray it’s just some worn out bearing rather than your transmission.
