04 Ford Explorer noise

I have a low mile rust free 04 Explorer with the 4.0L. Two OBD codes PO401 EGR & PO174 PCV valve. The motor makes a loud screeching noise at 3200 rpm, either while driving or in park, from the rear of the engine and has a rough idle. Not sure if it's a vacuum leak or what. Its left two local mechanic's and even my local Ford Dealer service unable to diagnose.

A few things they ruled out are, clogged catalytic converters and timing chains.

try taking off the serpentine belt.

Other than that , trying cleaning out the EGR system and replace the PCV valve.

Might be too much blowby from worn out pistons.
