Hi Scotty, bought an used (private owner) Rav4 , was ok no problems until my father drove it on 900 + mile trip. 1st thing, check engine light on , O'reilly scanned and said cat was problem. (sorry no code) , dad went to hotel. Next morning started car and it won't move forward , only reverse. Dad called nephew who told him to rev engine up several times and try again. Car continued to finish the rest of trip ,ck engine remains on. Now car won't move at all. Question - can cat converter cause trans to not go in gear? Thanks for help!
