Help! I got an 07 Hyundai Elantra with a 2.0L non turbo engine. Car started having rough starts one day which lead to fuel in the evap lines and stalling in stop and go traffic. Replaced purge valve”had fuel in it” ,evap canister “went bad” changed the vent valve solenoid and evap filter but car is still having trouble starting and stalling followed with fuel in evap lines still! what else could be wrong!

Well, if the canister itself has been destroyed you'd have to replace that too. But if you keep getting gasoline and it somehow gasoline is getting into the evap system and you would need a guy like me with a bi-directional scanner to test all the valves and solenoids to see if one is staying open and allowing raw fueling
