what for?
To make connecting and reconnecting the battery easier. It seems easier and quicker to pull or pull a latch than to unscrew and screw back the wires connected to the battery terminals.
I know what they do. I'm asking why you need to disconnect your battery so often?
No so often but when I do, I want the process to be easy.
The disconnects make that process easy because you don't need any additional tools.

The others are a cutoff switches, "Spartan Power Battery ON/Off Disconnect Switch 300A - Ignition Protected, Heavy Duty Cutoff Switch for RV, Marine, and Automotive Battery" and "Battery Disconnect Switch Kit，12V-48V Switch with Lugs for Boat Marine RV ATV UTV Vehicles, Automotive Replacement Battery Cut Off Switch(On-Off)", also on Amazon, those are for security purposes. Do you all think they are worth it?
