Is the lexus is250 2009 a good first car? Is it reliable and would I fit inside it being 6'5. Is it sporty despite being only 204hp?

The IS250 is tight inside, even on the newer ones. My friend who is 6’1” barely fits and his knees almost touch the steering wheel - doesn’t matter the generation of IS. I don’t see how a 6’5” individual could be comfortable in there.
It has 44 inches of legroom in the front seat, I thought it would be big.
