Just purchased this Baja bug unsure how many miles are on it the odometer has stopped working at 90,xxx miles it’s a standard stick shift transmission and after installing a new carb, cap, plugs&wires, and fuel pump and master brake cylinder when it’s running and you ease into the throttle it’s fine but if you punch the throttle down all the way fast like it will cut out temporarily it stays running when it cuts out it just doesn’t like fast throttle movements, any idea why that is ?

Well odds are you need to replace the carburetor either that or the fuel line is clogged up and or the fuel pump and fuel filter aren't working good. You can put a fuel pressure gauge to test that
