I have a 1952 Willys that overheated do to a blown head gasket cause by a ruptured radiator hose. I've replaced the head gasket and checked the head for warpage. Now the coolant drops about 1/4 cup or less of coolant into the #2 cyl. overnight. I suspect a small crack in the head. it is a flathead engine. No coolant in oil, but the old Jeep steams for about 2 minutes every morning and then runs fine. no overheating. my question is, in your opinion; which is the best product to try and seal a small crack in cast iron?
Out of curiosity (worked with flathead engines, but never had to repair a cracked head) I looked it up, and there seems to be a number of videos on this topic, unfortunately none of them by Scotty. Hope you get good info (is it a Jeepster? I love those.)
