Topic starter
Scotty
When my 1967 Mustang, 289 V8, is cold the engine turns over fine and the car will start. If I drive a while and warm the car up, then shut it off for a short while, to get gas (for example), the engine turns slowly. It acts as if the battery is weak but will turn over. Thankfully it still starts, and then runs fine, but it seems like the starter is struggling to spin the engine.
thank you

replace the starter and pray the motor isn't wearing out because an old worn-out motor once hot will often need to cool down or it won't start right
