Hi Scotty
I have a 1967 Ford Mustang with a 289 engine. It’s time to replace some front end parts - tie rods, spring perches, and ball joints. Should the coil springs should be replaced too? The car sits fine. I’m concerned new springs might change the height. I'm not sure if they are original springs, or what to look for to know if they need replacing. Thank you

If the car sits fine, and the springs aren't badly rusted then you can probably leave them.
I've sen a spring break on Golf before, but I would attribute that more to VW manufacturing quality.
