I learned so much about maintaining cars and I'm much smarter with my money on cars since I started to watch your videos! I just bought a 1986 Toyota MR 2. manual for $3600 USD... Mechanically the car seems to be in good shape. There's no power anything so it's low maintenance... The brake master cylinder has been swapped for a bigger one, body seems well kept too for a 30 year old car. What should I keep an eye on about this car? It has 312,000 Km's or 193,000 miles. I live in Canada so I know rust might be a problem, any particular places I should keep my eyes out for? Thanks Scotty!
Just the usual change the oil regularly change the coolant once every 5 years just take care of it and do try not to drive it too much in the winter when salt is on the road because they will get eaten up those older ones aren't coated as well as newer ones are and they will rust
