1990 Celica CV Axle Trans Fluid
I’m currently replacing my cv axle with a torn boot and the transmission fluid of course leaked out when you take the axle out. I caught the transmission fluid in a pan but I was wondering if I could just pour it back into the transmission dipstick check tube instead of going underneath and feeding it into the hole at the bottom of the pan.

Yes, as long as the fluid is clean. If dirt got into it put in new, fresh fluid instead.
