1995 BMW 320i Post Cylinder head gasket replacement

Picked up this beautiful white 1995 bmw320i last January. Had the cylinder head gasket replaced last month. They had ran a "diagnosis" at my request and had said everything checked out okay except for the suspension and the cylinder head gasket that I knew I had to replace. However, after pushing the gas to get over this overpass probably around 55km/h to 65km/h and slowing down, the engine appeared to have stalled, the power steering had felt like it turned off, the electronics were still on. Turning the car off, then turning it back on, the car had cranked with no issue so I initially crossed out the battery and alternator. After a few tries of the car not starting. Finally, the engine started but the sound of it starting sounded sluggish. After taking it back to my place, the car gave me the same issue when it came to starting the engine.(A long crank and the engine will eventually start with the sluggish sound. The day after, the car starts with no issues as far as I can see/hear. It actually sounds like it starts better now so as you can probably tell I'm very confused with this 90s technology. At first I was wondering if it had anything to do the cylinder head gasket I had replaced? I took the car out a few times since then and it's giving me no issues at the moment. I'm going to pick a diagnostic tool for myself at this point. I'm hoping it's not the fuel pump.

Check the Fuel pump relay. A good thing to look into on these old beemers before diagnosing the fuel pump itself. Also, think about what would have had to come off/be unplugged when the head gasket was replaced. Double check all sensors/connectors and see if you can get a log when you get your scanner tool to see what's going on.
