My baby ☹ ( 1997 toyota avalon) is burning alot of oil i changed oil & pvc on sept 6. I put 3 courts of oil within them & now . Im on low oil again ☹ i looked at my Cylinder 4 it has oil burn on top of it (is blk).. I haven't looked at all of them yet... but its burning alot of oil.
I'm sorry to say that, but it seems that your engine is flat worn out. You should either rebuild the engine, which costs awful lot of money, or swap the engine with a used one, which I do not recommend for the old cars since it is likely that the new engine is already worn out. Keep adding oil to the engine and drive it until the wheels fall off, which I don't think it happens soon.

I was hopping you wasn't going to say that... can I get a engine from the junk yard? Whats the top things to look for

What would you consider if I choose to get a motor from a junkyard what to look out for? Just to make sure I get a good one? You know @jacksonishere

Make sure you get a warranty on the engine from the junkyard. My option, (keep in mind, I'm a moron) I would try to sell the car to the highest bidder and find another used toyota with a good engine.
