My GMC Jimmy air bag light cuts on but it only occasionally turns on and I don't know why it does that. And how could I find out what's the problem.

Check that the air bag sensors, at the bottom of the radiator support are clean and plugged in and that no wiring is frayed or disconnected. Same with the rear one. Check the fuses. Get a free scan at an auto parts store.
