I just today steam cleaned my 2017 Hyundai Elantra because I’m trading it into the dealership for a Honda civic, however after doing so I noticed the airbag light is on my dash and it won’t turn off, forums say that maybe a sensor with the seat belts got wet and could be malfunctioning and return to normal once it dries out, I did work around the seatbelt so this is definitely a possibility, Scotty what’s your thoughts
There is safety restraint equipment everywhere. In the ceiling, floor, sides, seat cushions, seat bases, seat belts, steering wheel, dashboard, and so on.
You need to scan the onboard diagnostic system with a professional tool. I will likely pinpoint the location of the problem so you can inspect the specific part and repair/replace as necessary.
