I had to replace the clock spring on a 2015 Equinox.
Does a steering wheel airbag have to be in place to pass the system tests on startup?
I tried to temporarily hookup the airbag to see if the service airbag warning went away. It did not. I do not have the airbag snapped in place. Could that be the reason?
I have an Autel scanner similar to the one you use in your videos. I’m just not very familiar with all that it can do.

you need to run a diagnostic scan with a tool that can access the SRS sytem
