Hi Scotty!
I own a 1998 Honda Accord with manual transmission and we brought it down from Canada. We LOVE the car, but other than the engine and transmission, the rest of the car is showing it's age. My son also recently had a front end collision and damaged the bumper, left fender and left headlight. We shelled out $1800 to fix it and I am not happy with the work. The hood is not lined up and the body shop said that it's because our car is so old.
Now the maintenance light is coming on, and a random odd clanging sound. I haven't heard it when I drove it, but my son says it comes on randomly.
What do you suggest we do with this car? Donate it? We are in Texas and we need a vehicle. My 18 year old has been driving this car, and we can't afford to shell out $10-15k for another car. We looked at decent used cars, and UGH, the prices are crazy right now.
But I don't want to keep putting money into a car that is ready to die. This Honda has been crazy reliable. It's just getting old.
What do you suggest? Do you think anyone will buy this car from me?
It's rusted to and mesh just donated get rid of it get another car that isn't Rusty
