Hey, Scottman. Love your videos. You an honest cat. Bought a 1998 Civic EX coupe with a swapped in 1.5 liter motor straight from Japan. $1,600. Texas vehicle, I live in Michigan. I want it to last. What should I be leery of?

The odometer reads 244,000 K miles. Might be inaccurate, seeing as the speedometer wirks about 30% of the time. She looks clean. No rust. Rebuilt head. 4 speed auto tranny. Changed trans fluud, double platinum spark. K&N air installed. Purrs like little kitten and very fuel economical! Besides rear trailing arms and power steering leak ( I stopped bothering putting fluid in, drives like a champ with manual steering alone )... are there any things I should be aware of potentially in the future?

Check all the rubber and plastic parts. Check the brake fluid and the hoses. One important thing is the timing belt replacement. It is an interference engine. If you don’t know when it was change, you need to change the timing belt. Also, the valves should be adjusted , typical of Honda engines. Other than these, just keep up with regular maintenance.
