Hello, I have a 1999 Buick Riviera supercharged coupe with 81k miles on it and in damn near show room condition. Recently the traction control button went off and stayed off along with that the ABS. I talked to my family mechanic about it and he told me some reasons that could be but due to circumstances he is not around me as of right so I couldn’t take it for him to look at and fully diagnose. Do you Scotty have any ideas why that could be and who I could trust with my baby? Thanks

On something that old frequently wheel sensor cables deteriorate, particularly on the front wheels due to constant flexing. A good scan tool will tell you in a few seconds if you have a sensor problem and pinpoint any bad ones. Lacking that you might find the problem via physical examination of the sensor cables.

Okay thank u

you need a professional diagnostic scan

Any suggestions of where to take it?

Thank you
