1999, toyota camry, 4 cylinder, 200.000 miles

Takes a while to shift to next gear, solution. Also idle is a bit rough and how to reset computer box after installing new intake hose. The idle is a bit going up and down. Please help. THANK YOU.

Aftermarket intakes often cause problems with the air sensor. I would recommend you switch back to the factory intake - there is nothing to be gained from modifying the cars air intake unless your engine is modified in other ways to accommodate the change in air.

 

The ECU can be reset by simply unhooking the battery, waiting a few minutes, and then hooking it back up. The code probably wont go away though because the car is designed to use the factory air intake.
