Hello, have you done any video on an 09 Mercury Mariner premier? I have one with the 2.5l 4cyl. I broke 2 camshaft and finally got it timed correctly. Keep in mind there is no key on the crank. It was running great so I put the tires back on and back on the ground it goes. Putting it in gear, timing slips and now had a broken valve in cyl 3. This is a fed also. I could see how the timing could slip so easy but when did they start making camshafts they just Break so easy
Yeah that's 2.5 cylinder engines aren't that great they just make them as cheap as possible that's all and then they break. They pushed the engineers design things that are cheaper to make I really don't care about how they fall apart once they're out of warranty. Big reason I advise people not to buy those
Those are not well designed engines unfortunately. I'd look into getting a different vehicle myself.
