Truck cranks over but wont start most of the time but starts every once in a while, has fuel at the rail, has new battery, New alternator, new coils and spark plugs, and new crank sensor. I checked relays so far nothing. Ford electronics are a pain. No codes either.

did you test the parts to make sure they actually work correctly?

Make sure the plugs are actually sparking, measure the fuel pressure etc.

Took it to a shop they could not figure out what it was. Here is what they checked.

All sensors under hood are good
Ignition switch output to ecu is good
ecu has 5v reference when in crank mode.
ohm checked wiring from ign. switch to ecu. (ok)
ohm checked crank sensor wire (ok)
checked all fuel injectors and coil (ok)
New ignition switch Installed
New fuel Pump installed.
Starter tested and works correctly.

Tested and reflashed ecu as well

Truck will start if you leave key on the on position for a minute and let it sit.

Check the head gasket.

I want to point out their is no white smoke it gives no indication of a blown head gasket it runs extremely well when it does start and throws zero codes.

Do these have a fuel pressure regulator that redirects excess fuel back to the tank?
