So i am having issues with my odometer on my 2001 4runner. The speedometer is not reading speed and the odometer does not track the mileage, it is stuck on 299,934 miles. I replaced the speed sensor on the car, but it still doesnt work. When i connect the scanner it throws out the message of bad speed sensor, but it is brand new. Along with all this, the VSC lights, brake light, and abs light are on. The car runs fine, but im just wondering what the issue is? Does it need a new odometer?

well adometers are really expensive most guys will just go to a junkyard and buy a used dash on something that old I've often done that
