Looking at a 2001 f-150 super crew lariat 5.4L with 113000 miles. Its been a california car it's whole life so no rust. It's a very clean example and even comes with a camper shell. Truck is listed for $8000, only problem with it is that it's being sold by a used dealer, and they want to add $800 to the price for some "ceramic coating" they put on the paint. What is a ceramic coating for paint, and is this truck a good buy to use as a daily driver.

Savannah coating is a load of Bologna and for a 20-year-old truck that's a bit high asking price

That's a $5000 truck, and if the dealer is going to play games with "ceramic coating" and other add-ons, I would walk.
