Hey Scotty my grandma has a 2001 Kia Rio with a automatic transmission and when she first starts it there is a loud squeaking noise but it doesn't do that when it warms up what could it be?

change your serpetine belt when you need it replaced, if that belt breaks, your pistons could hit your valves and goodbye engine. the squaking noise most of the time comes from Rusted break rotors

Generally it's the fan belt put a new one on
