There's no way we can tell from here what "the right part" would be, especially since there is almost no information to go on. Have you replaced the serpentine belt yet? Check out the no-start information in the site FAQ for troubleshooting tips and let us know whether that helps resolve the problem.
I bought the belt trying to learn how to put it on
OK, I misunderstood, I though the belt was replaced and the car won't start. Let us know how you make out.
There are videos on youtube that might help. This one is about the belt tensioner but that involves putting the belt back on.

Thank you but I know the car should turn on without the serpentine belt and that is where I'm stuck at right now is why I'm not getting power
As far as the no-start problem as I said before check the FAQ for troubleshooting information. You don't want to run the engine without belt for more than a few seconds anyway.
car died and won't restart
good. You don't want to run an engine without the belt.

Go to the auto part store (Advance, Oreillly, Autozone ... whatever you have near you), give them your VIN, and ask for a serpentine belt. No big deal.
While you're there, grab a Haynes repair manual, and you'll need tools to install the belt.
Ok i bought the belt trying to learn how to put it on
it'll either have a spring loaded tensioner that you need a long breaker bar for, or manually adjusted tensioner, or it'll be a slip-fit belt (you will need something to help it on. Sometimes they come with a tool)
If you ran the battery totally dead a simple jump may not start the car. You may have to charge the battery over night. Jump starts work with batteries that still have some juice left in them. You probably should do a alternator test. You can rent a tester at AutoZone. If you drove the car without the serpentine belt any great distance you may have overheated the engine which means it is seized which means it's history.
