Hey Scotty! I’ve recently bought a used 2001 Tacoma 2.7L 4cyl prerunner 2WD Double Cab, it came with some new beefy tires and new rims with 170k miles on it bought it for 8.2k. Did I get a good deal? Transmission is smooth only thing I noticed was when the truck ran at 2nd gear speed it and I let go of the gas the RPM ‘s would drop to idle while the truck slowed down anything it might be ?

You didn't get a good deal, because tacoma's are usually not good deals, but you sure did get a good truck. I think you somewhat overpayed with the little 4 cylinder and 2wd.

cars slow down when you get off the accel pedal. I don't understand.
