hv a 2007 focus zx3 5 speed runs great, but eyeing a 2002 svt.. looks as good as mine, although paint hood/front not as great.. red 2 door, refuse to call a hatch a door too..
seller says 2002 SVT focus. Car has been very good to me over the course of these past few months. It is daily driven 80 miles a day. The car has new timing belt, valves, springs, and rear bushings. Car is mechanically sound and drives very smooth. Tires are pretty decent but will have to be replaced eventually. This car is by no means perfect and is shown by fords 18 year old paint but it will without a doubt get you from point A to point B. Car has an aftermarket touch screen radio as well. A/C is ice cold and heat works well. New alternator. Front tires are newer and rear are decent. Car needs nothing but some 02 sensors"
all stock, v nice inside.. no dents, ac/heat/knobs work. sunroof perfect headliner good.. 228k miles, 2k ..should i? ima big fan, love your show!
Definitely no more than $1500 if you love it, but start at $1000 first. That's a lot of miles, so mechanical inspection should be high on your list of things to do BEFORE purchase.
Those cars do have great engines though. If it passes mechanical, I'd probably do it.
2k is not much for a car. For that mileage, maybe offer $1000-$1200. Also, ask if they can prove that everything you mentioned was actually done. Definitely have professional mechanic check it out first
I would haggle.
thanks guys.. retired, it would be basically a grocery getter, dr appointments and fast food runs lol.. can't stress how nice the interior is, even the body.. under the hood it's all there, nothing changed/swapped or missing.. idt a kid ever had this one.. as i learned from scotty, can tell via the front it has a lot of hwy miles.. seeing the effects on the hood.. not super bad.. just obvious once you know to look ..hv a sat appointment.. find out soon
