I got a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V 2.5 standard with 138k miles. Lately it has doing long crank starts. No codes. All maintenance has been done like air filter and spark plugs. It has been doing it randomly. It's done it on cold and hot starts. Onces it starts, it runs like a champ. It's just long cracking. Hopefully it doesn't leave me stranded one day. Please any advice will help. Thank you for your time.

Well old age does that to all of us but make sure you have a clean fuel filter a clean air filter and if that's still the case pressure test the fuel pump it could be starting to go out. If not that do my video how to clean fuel injectors without removal as dirty ones will often do that

Is there any way to more easily replicate this or is it completely random? They had fuel pressure regulator concerns in the tank cause fuel pressure to bleed back when not running and the only other common issue with those concerns is cam or crank sensors but those should trigger a code where the fuel regulator would not trigger any codes
