The low beams do not come on. When I change to high beams both the low beam and high beam lights come on. The wiring diagram shows that when the high beams are on the low beams switch wire direction to the high beam feed. Do I have a broken wire?
Probably a bad 20-year-old switch or relay.
It s most likely to be a faulty lights switch. I had a problem with my 2004 PT Cruiser... the fog lights failed to come on. I replaced the lights switch with a new one and now everything is fine. PS: make sure to buy only the lights switch without the wiper switch provided you don't need that. It'll save you money since you can separate the 2 switches and you don't need to replace both. Just put your new lights switch, connect it with the wiper switch and you're good to go!
