Hi Scotty,  I have a 2003 4Runner with 240,000 that has been fantastic, I bought it with only 12,000 miles on 2004.  The only unusual issue I have had with it is a buzzing sound that comes from the little motor that assists with the power/antilock brakes.  After a lot of research, it seems like these motors eventually need replacing, which is what I did, which was a major pain in the butt.  It didn't fix the problem.  The interesting thing is that some days it makes this loud buzzing sound almost every time you hit the brakes, sometimes without even touching the brakes, and some days it doesn't happen at all.  I know you are a big 4Runner guy.  Any ideas?

P.S. I bought an X5 thinking I'd sell the 4 Runner, but I couldn't part with the 4Runner and sold the X5 once the excitement and thrill of it wore off.
