Battery Memory saver question

Scotty, from watching many of your videos in the past in some of them you have talked about getting a battery memory saver that plugs into the OBDII port that saves the memory and all while you change the battery or disconnect a battery cable.  I would like to get one for my Dad for his 2018 Corolla, even though his battery is still fine, but obviously at some point he will have to change it.  You said there are some good ones on Amazon for around $25 or $30.  When I looked on Amazon, there are lots of them, so I really don't know which one to get.  So if you could let me know which one is one the best ones that's not too expensive, but also not too cheap (especially in quality), that would be great.  Please specify brand(s).  Thanks.

I bought the VSTM OBD 2 Emergency Power Supply Cable Memory Saver (3 meter) along with the Wagan EL9903 5 amp AC to DC Power Converter. They have worked flawlessly so far.

Ok. I have a question with the VSTM OBD 2 memory saver, it looks like you can plug the OBD 2 plug into the OBD 2 port of the car that battery is getting changed, and then plug the 12 Volt plug into the car charger port or lighter of the car that has a good battery with the car running, or at least the good car with the key in the On position (battery on). I'm assuming that will work?? The only thing is, do you think I would need to get an extension cable like this one below, so it would be able to fit into the other car?? Mainly incase the 10 ft. cable doesn't fit?? https://www.amazon.com/Cigarette-Lighter-Extension-Charger-Socket/dp/B01J770L2S/ref=sr_1_17?dchild=1&keywords=12v+extender&qid=1607824897&sr=8-17

Let me know.

Sure, better safe than sorry. I mostly work in my garage, which is why I bought the power supply. Took me a week to fix a car last winter, kept it plugged in the whole time.
