Got a 2003 Toyota Highlander 2.4 with 114k miles. Battery died after 2 days of being connected not running. Disconnected the negative battery cable, put the test light lead on the negative post and put my test light that has voltage shown on the negative battery cable and it shows 6.5 volts draw. I pulled every fuse and relay with no power change. Any thoughts?
Make sure you have a good, fully charged battery before testing and use a mulitmeter instead of a test light with voltage. This following video should be helpful and I've also linked a pdf of fuses and their amperages: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRcj1fQcWwU and pdf of fuses and amperage. (Also remember that cars can have several fuse box locations)Battery died after 2 days of being connected not running. @hixster thanks I will definitely try that method
it shows 6.5 volts draw
voltage isn't a draw. You should measure current.
