Car stated above has the code c1200 front left abs open or short to ground. I checked the tone ring it's not cracked which is an issue for this model. Abs sensor in resistant range at 1300 ohms. Supply voltage at 2.8 volts IDK if that is the issue. I read online supply voltages should be 1-1.5 volts. Any ideas?
For anyone else looking for help on this issue i found the abs sensor to be bad even though it is new. Swapped it with a new sensor and lights went away. Thanks for the help scotty
1.5 volts now it says you have a short so either the wiring is shorted out the sensor shorted out or the driver in the computer shorted out
it is an intermittent problem. I changed the abs sensor and the worked for a few days. Now the lights are back on with the same code c1200 short to open. Any leads o what to ch3eck or how to check a short/ open wire would be appreciated
the sensor is reading at 917 ohms resistance. The vehicle is giving out 2.0 volts from the harness going to abs sensor
03 Santa Fe has the code c1200 front left abs open or short to ground. I replace the abs cable a week ago haven't driven it more than 10 miles. The new sensor seemed to fix the issue. Started it up to move it and the ABS TCS and 4WD lights are on again. This has been an intermittent issue. If it is the wiring any leads on where to look first other than the connector?
the sensor is reading at 917 ohms resistance. Vehicle is giving out 2.0 volts from harness going to abs sensor
