2004 Mercury Grand Marquis w/ 4.6 L V8 - Gas Pedal Vibrations w/o check engine light.

I have no check engine light on my 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis. It has the 4.6 L. modular V8, and the Ford 4-speed 4R70W automatic transmission. I bought it at 114,000 miles, and she just passed 166,000 miles. I, unfortunately, got into an accident about two months ago where I crunched up the right rear of the car to the point that the metal touches the exhaust. The exhaust vibrates while I drive, but about a week or two ago, my gas pedal has started to vibrate at seemingly random intervals while driving. It feels like it could be the transmission, but it doesn't happen exclusively while shifting. My airbag light is the only light on my dash that lights up, but even that isn't all the time. All of my fluids are filled and look good, and my AC compressor is the only thing that is breaking down under the hood to my knowledge.

I even work at Auto Zone but I can't use anything to check my codes because the Check Engine light isn't on. What could this be?

I appreciate any and all answers.

Look for exhaust leaks. Odds are fixing the exhaust leak will fix your vibrating gas pedal.

The gas peddle in a '04 is a physical cable to the throttle body; it's not drive by wire. Maybe the shift in the exhaust from the collision caused it or something else to begin touching or vibrating the throttle cable??
