2004 Toyota Tundra V8 4x4 Access Cab

Hey Scotty, I recently got an ‘04 Toyota Tundra V8 4x4 Access Cab free from a family member. It has only 98k miles, and it was well maintained judging by the tons of service receipts I got with it. What are your opinions on these trucks? Will it last me a while? The only real issues it has is what I think is an ac refrigerant leak, a slight power steering pump noise when the wheel is turned, and some cosmetic issues with the paint and wheels. Most of which I can remedy myself. Anything particular I should know about these first gen tundras? Thanks!

***I know that these trucks suffer from rust issues, but I checked the frame and it seems to be pretty intact and in good shape for the most part. I’m pretty sure it was under coated a while back. There is some surface rust on the hitch receiver, diff, leaf spring mounts, and some of the front suspension parts, which I could probably sand down and paint.

Great trucks. Remember to change the timing belt and water pump too besides all normal maintenance.
