Thanks for all your time in helping people with their vehicles. I'm far from being a mechanic but I find your videos very enlightening.
My son has a 2005 Acura MDX. It has about 270,000 miles on it. He bought it 4 years ago from a traveling salesperson. It was in mint condition and still is. Most of the miles were highway.
It has been overheating. His neighbor has a scanner and it says that cylinders 1,3,5 & 6 are misfiring. Can you address that for us?

The first thing I would want to know is what’s the coolant temperature reading.
is the thermostat operational, the misfire codes could be something totally unrelated.
