I have a 2005 Silverado that was given to me several years ago. The transmission has never been serviced. The truck has just under 100K miles. I am having no problems with the transmission. The shop is suggesting a BG fluid exchange service on the transmission. Your thoughts?

No, You do not want to flush the transmission. The best thing you can do is to inspect the ATF first. If it is dark and has a burnt smell in it, leave it alone. If the ATF looked fine, then just drain the old fluid, keep it in a clean container (just in case) and add the same amount to the transmission.
