it runs ok at first but after driving awhile it runs really rough at idle and the check engine light flash's and smells bad. It is still drivable and hasn't died while at idle.
looked at live data the shrtft 1 2 99.2% and shrtft 2 2 99.2%
all original engine mileage is around 159,000
In the short term the computer is trying put out almost twice as much fuel as normal. (That's what your P0171 is about.) Have you checked for vacuum leaks? What are your long term fuel trims?
