Hi,
My 2005 Honda Accord LX 2.4L has developed a rattle at low RPM’s and sometimes at idle. Coming from serpentine belt area I believe. It has 359,000 miles. I drive a lot of highway miles and change the oil every 7-8,000 miles. Wondering if it could be a tensioner going bad or a weak or wearing timing belt. Car still runs fine, no misfires or performance issues. Possibly loose valves? I must admit I’ve never had them adjusted 🙁

does the rattle go away if you take the belt off?
Mountainmanjoe,
Have not tried that yet. I will do that. Thank you for the suggestion.
