I have a 2005 Honda accord V6 ,automatic transmission with 267,189 miles. Should I change the transmission fluid? It runs fine. But when I look at the dipstick it looks dirty and smells burnt. Bought it used so I don't know if the transmission fluid has ever been changed. What are your thoughts ?

Yes, I would change it soon. Did you also check the owner’s manual about what mileage you should change it?

With 267,000 miles, I’d be leery about changing it.
If you do change it, use only the Honda OEM fluid & save the old fluid incase it starts acting up, after -

Yeah I would probably only empty out 2 quarts max and refill with factory fluid.
