I bought a 2005 Toyota Sienna and noticed the transmission slipping not too long after I bought it. I got it with 129K miles now it has 144K miles. I put Lucas in it twice and it’s still slipping. Before it would slip in the first couple gears and once I get over that it drove normal. So once I pass 30mph it was fine. Now I can’t go over 30 mph. Do you think I need a new transmission? Thanks for taking the time to answer .

No surprise there. Lucas is pretty much snake oil. Some do experience temporary results with it but you can't fix a worn-out transmission by pouring some gunk into it.

Yes, but what you really need is a new car. Replacing the transmission in a 19-year-old Sienna is going to cost more than it's worth.
