- I have a 2006 Toyota Camry, with 245k miles on it. I have an issue when traveling at low speeds and then accelerating and the car lags and a few seconds later quickly jerks to about 3k rpms and then takes off. I think it may be the transmission but I have no other issues with shifting or anything. ATF has been changed and is clean.

So the engine revs up and then the car moves. If this is the case, your transmission may have issues. Try add some lucas transmission additive.
