2006 G35 Coupe
Hello! I drive a g35 infiniti with no codes 150k miles. I just wanted to know if anyone here has experienced my issues. I recently changed all 4 sides brakes pads and calipers. Everything was greased correctly, torque to spec. But when im driving and i brake, it sounds like the caliper is loose from the front. I've changed just about all the front suspension. Shocks, ball joints control arms wheel bearings, tie rods literally just about everything, because of the same noise its currently doing. so i wanted the car to ride great and after 4 months i checked the front suspension for anything concerning or anything loose, but everything feels solid strong. i shooke the tire side to side, and up and down but nothing. Is the caliper bad or slide pins? Or what can be causing the loose clunky noise? Even on bumps, too. i hear it, but mainly when i break. Please and thank you! It is for a 2006 g35 coupe! Any recommendations from similar experience please!
Well, of course if it didn't make the noise before the work, the work is what created the noise. It could easily be the brakes we're not put on right or what I see all the time. If the pads were incorrectly manufactured and they do not fit perfectly, they will clunk because they have to fit snuggly. I've seen that happen many times. Poorly built brake pad
