Have a 2006 toyota yaris yrx hatch and runs great. Just wondering how far forward i can go with part from other toyota yaris's. I bought it brand new back in the day. But as the years have gone on some things have a little wear and tear. Been looking at wreckers at front seats, ome car stereos, steering wheels, head lights. Cant seem to find anything on the interwebs about compatible parts from other year model yaris's unless you know of any website. Aslo i am in australia. I have contacted Toyota and they just dont want to tell you anything. There response is... "we dont recommend you do that."

Well the main problem is a Yaris is really a Mazda Mazda builds them so they do a lot of comparable parts with Mazdas and Toyota yarises
But for what you want basically you bring the car to the junkyard and see what they have and see what fits and what doesn't
I don't think Mazda was involved with the Yaris back then. My 08 Yaris has a Toyota motor and trans.
Never heard of the Yrx Model, but it looks just like mine so I would assume the vast majority of parts are the same.
