Heat and Air Conditioning Repair Cost

Good Morning or Afternoon Scotty,

I've been subscribed to your YouTube channel since 2019 and I love your content but I have an issue and I finally want to get it fixed. I have a 2009 Nissan Versa with 120K miles. A couple months after I bought the car the AC/Heat stopped working. Nothing happens, no air, no ac, no heat and I live in CT, we get all four seasons. For 2 years I've gone without and I want to finally get it fixed. I got ripped off at one mechanic for getting a new starter so you can imagine my hesitation. What would a person with your expertise and experience consider a job like that would cost. I'm willing to shelve up to $300 but I want to know would that amount of money be necessary with all options considered.

Feel free to answer back through here or even make a video response on youtube. Either way I'd appreciate your advice

Sincerely

Addy

Thank you guys for responding. My next question is... Regardless of what will be needed, what's the most reasonable price to get it fixed at the highest end for my vehicle. I don't want to get ripped off.

Someone needs to diagnose the problems first. It could be something as simple as a $2 blower fuse.

Most common issue in those is the blower motor itself and should be replaced with the resistor as a pair. To be safe before hand check all fuses a lot  of times a failing blower motor or resistor the high resistance will blow the fuse
