Whenever I try to start, I have to turn the key 2~3 times or it just cranks up

I used the scanner, nothing comes up.

Is it cause its old? Cold climate? Bad starting motor?

. Check your fuel pressure .You could have a faulty pump, clogged/practically clog filter or bad relay. If that isn't it check your crank position sensor and cam sensor. Just because you don't have a code doesn't mean it isn't bad.

Can clogged up maf sensor also be the cause?

Very very very unlikely. It sounds like it's either a fuel issue or the starter. Check both out if that's not it check the crank position sensor
